Quilt Entries
Thank you for taking the time to enter your creativity and craftmanship in this year’s Fynbos Quilt Festival. We are excited to showcase your work and look forward to sharing your art with fellow quilters and craft enthusiast.
A few reminders:
- All entries must be in a pristine condition ready for display at the exhibition.
- Size: No side longer or wider than 240cm.
- Maximum number of entries: a total number of six (6) quilts/quilted items* entries per person. (* Hereinafter referred to as “quilts” for ease of reference.)
- No quilt that is older than 3 years after completion may be entered.
- All quilts must have a cloth label securely sewn to it.

All quilt entries must adhere to the following dates and deadlines.
QUILT ENTRIES by midnight 22 AUGUST 2025
QUILT DELIVERIES by midnight 19 SEPTEMBER 2025
Before you enter your quilt, you will need the following:
1. PROOF OF PAYMENT OF ENTRY FEE
- Entry fee is R100 per entry. You can make one single payment to enter multiple quilts/quilted items. (For example, if you enter 4 quilts, you can make a single payment of 4 x R100 = R400) (The Beehive Project hexagons entries are free.)
- Payments made by direct EFT only to:

Reference: Name_Surname - Save the Proof of Payment since your will need to upload it on the entry form later.
2. PHOTO OF YOUR COMPLETED QUILT
- Please take a clear, colour photo in good natural light to capture your work, but not in the highest resolution available, since the file size may not exceed 10MB per photo.
- Save the photo in image file format (e.g. JPG, PNG) or in PDF format.
- Rename the photo to: Your initials & Title of the Quilt (or as much of the title that will fit), e.g. DC_Fynbos_Beauty
- Check the photo size to make sure it does not exceed 10MB, and resize it if necessary.
3. ALSO HAVE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION HANDY IN RELATION TO YOUR QUILT
- Dimensions (Length and Width)
- Completion Date
- Description for the Quilt Card that will be displayed with your quilt (less than 150 words)
- Design Credits
Confirmation of entry, with a unique number(s) for each quilt entered, will be sent once all the entry requirements have been met.
If the form is not completed and properly submitted we will not receive any information. Your entry will only reach us if:
a. you receive the message at the end "Your response has been recorded" and
b. Google sends you a copy of the form (containing all your inputs)
If your entry has been successfully submitted, you will receive communication from us within about a week (after the payment has been confirmed).
