Important Changes for Quilt Entries – FYNBOS Quilt Festival 2025
Here’s what’s new (and exciting!):
**CLOSING DATE FOR QUILT ENTRIES EXTENDED TO 5 SEPTEMBER 2025!**
MANUAL ENTRIES NOW WELCOME
You can still complete the user-friendly online entry form, but if online forms aren’t your thing, no worries! We’ve got you covered.
You can now complete a simple PDF form by hand. Just complete one form per quilt. Go to QUILT ENTRIES for more info.
OLDER QUILTS WELCOME
Got a beautiful quilt that’s more than 3 years old? We’d love to see it!
You can now enter older quilts, as long as they are unused and in pristine condition.
Let’s fill the hall with quilted inspiration, old and new!
NO JUDGING – JUST JOY!
Despite previous announcements, we’ve noticed there’s still a bit of confusion. So let’s say it loud and clear: This is NOT a formally judged exhibition. This is NOT a competition.
This is all about sharing, celebrating, and connecting. No scores. No stress. Just quilts and community.
And the bonus?
WE ARE THRILLED TO OFFER TWO GENEROUS R3 500 PRIZES:
- The Panel’s Pick will be awarded at the Welcome Function, chosen by a surprise panel of celebrity guests who will select their personal favourite.
- The Festival Favourite is a Viewers’ Choice, voted for by festival visitors, and announced at the 8 November meeting of the Good Hope Quilters’ Guild.
Now that’s a wonderful incentive to get your work exhibition ready!
