Discover the art of English Paper Piecing in this creative hand-stitching class with Santie Vorster. Learn how to plan your design, cut smart paper templates with frames for fussy-cutting, choose fabrics, and follow instructions to create a stunning hexagon mandala inspired by fynbos, bees, and beautiful motifs.
Beginners will start with a centre block surrounded by six fussy-cut hexagons, while more experienced stitchers can expand the design. You’ll explore both traditional and modern techniques, with guidance tailored to your skill level. Your finished piece can become a cushion cover, wall hanging, or placemats. Expect a relaxed, welcoming space filled with inspiration - and plenty of energy to create something truly special.
