Using Marline’s supplied original pattern, you can start small with a cushion or begin the centre block of a future quilt. She’ll guide you through expanding the design by adding corners and designing simple yet striking borders to build your own Masterpiece Quilt.

No Kit Required

Student Requirements:

- Basic Sewing Supplies

-  Fabric:

a) 50 cm Background fabric (preferably light colour) - must be cotton

b) Fabrics for your stems, leaves and berries - bring this from your stash of cotton fabrics

-  Thread: YLI Silk Thread in Light Taupe and Dark Taupe (If you cannot get this, Marline will bring an alternative for you and will discuss threads.)

- Applique Needles

- Thimble

- Marking Pencil with 3B Lead

- White Fabric Marking Pencil

- Sharp Scissors- Fabric and Snips

- Cushion for chair

Marline will provide each student with a pattern sheet.
