Join us for a fun, hands-on class where you’ll explore both free motion machine stitching and slow hand stitching to craft two beautiful, one-of-a-kind bees. Using water-soluble and repurposed fabrics, applique paper, and exciting threads, you’ll blend traditional quilting with creative new techniques.
Discover the joy of texture, layering, and relaxed stitching as you learn to make bold marks and fine details. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced stitcher, this class will inspire you to see patchwork in a whole new way.

The compulsory kit contains the requirements for the free motion machine stitching and the slow hand stitching bee.
• Fabric: Cotton fabrics required – small pieces / offcuts plain / patterned fabric in
beige/grey/black/yellow/ochre
• Thread:
o Thread and bobbins – black, grey, white, yellow, amber
o Embroidery threads in black, white, beige, amber, yellow
o Embroidery frame for hand /machine embroidery (optional)
• Needles:
o Needles – 80 / 90 Universal machine needles
o Hand sewing needles
o Embroidery needles
• Stainless steel Pins
• Pilot V05 Black Pen
• Pencil
• Pritt or Fabric Glue Stick
