Home Outreach Circle of Friends

Circle of Friends

Groups of quilters meet to make quilts for Aids orphans.  It is time well spent with a cutter, an ironer, some sewers and even a tea maker  - like working in a quilt factory.

Circle of Friends was initiated by a group of six friends in Boston, America.   The aim was to make quilts for babies and children orphaned through  HIV  and  AIDS.

With the help of the members of GHQG  this ongoing project now includes donating quilts to hospitals and other institutions.

The task is huge  -  the need is great!   Would you like to help?   You can start a circle of quilting friends willing to be a link in this initiative.

Donations we need are:  Quilt tops, fabric, batting and fabric for backing the quilts
