Clothes for kids
Margie Garratt is the driving force behind this wonderful project that continues to make tracksuits and knit jerseys for orphan and AIDS children. Any assistance is always appreciated. To date Margie has delivered 1780 tracksuits, nearly 2000 jerseys and 70 quilts. All the items go to either schools, hospitals/clinics or orphanages. Margie recently received 5 sewing machines that were donated as a result of Karen Watkins article from Independent Newspapers and on her recent visit to the UK 60 jerseys from knitters were most gratefully received - a special thank you to Karen and all those who made these donations.
