Imizamo Yethu
Imizamo Yethu in Khayelitsha, on the outskirts of Cape Town, is where Nolwandla Leitshethu, the remarkable leader of this project, lives and works. She battles daily, with no financial aid, training women in sewing skills, enabling them to feed their families. Her afternoons are filled with groups of women make use of the secure space and sewing machines until sundown. All donations are taken through to Imizamo Yethu regiularly.
