Outreach

The Good Hope Quilters' Guild, through its affiliated groups and members, supports a number of Outreach initiatives. These range from free patchwork and quilting classes to fabric donations to knitting of jerseys for babies and children. The Cape has cold wet winters and every bit helps to alleviate the desperate poverty with which we co-exist.

There is a drop-off point (close to the sign-in desk) at quarterly meetings for suitable donations of cotton quilting fabric, batting, sewing threads - to be clean and in a clearly marked package.
