Group News

There are many groups, both small and large, operating within the Western Cape.  Many of the Good Hope Quilters' Guild members are drawn from, but not limited to, these groups.

This is a list of many of the Groups and most groups welcome new members.   If your Group is not listed, or if you have any news regarding your Group that you would like included here, please contact Karen Nicole with the details.

 At our quarterly meetings one group (sometimes two) is invited to be "Group of the Quarter".  This gives the members of this group the opportunity to showcase the quilts that they have produced.  Many of their quilts, that range from utility, traditional to innovative and art quilts, are displayed around the venue, and often many more appear at "show and tell".  We are also grateful to these groups for their cheerful provision of lunch-time refreshments, current proceeds going towards Festival funds.

The Guild banner

The Guild banner is always proudly on display at every quarterly meeting.  The logos of the groups within the guild make up the Good Hope logo.
