I started STITCH ‘N STUFF in Claremont 14 years ago with no idea about patchwork but after two years of attending every possible patchwork course in Cape Town and with the help of being a draughtswoman, I was given the go ahead from Ina Keyter to start teaching myself.

I have also been a vendor at the Good Hope Quilters' Guild’s quarterly meeting since August 1994 and had the vendor’s portfolio at our national festival here in Cape Town in 2002.

In December 2007 Holly Allen joined me in the shop as my partner and the shop has grown considerably. I now teach daily at the shop in Claremont.

I have been on the committee since 2006 and was in charge of our local vendors for the first two yearss, and I am on the committee of 2011 Festival in charge of the vendors again.
