Bettie van Zyl is our new historian. She has been quilting since 1983 and has been an active member of Golden Rand Guild before moving to Hermanus. Her aim is to document and research old and antique quilts in our region as well as starting to document all the new quilts at Show and Tell with every meeting. She teaches around the country and comes into contact with a lot of quilters.
