Exhibitions



The main quilt exhibition will be in the Rhenish Girls High School Ebenezer Hall.

• The following quilt collections on display form part of the Main Exhibition:

o Section 1 Competition Quilts Competition (Judged) Quilts. The competition quilts showcase a wide variety of techniques used by quilters internationally.  Designs range from well-known traditional designs like Log Cabins to art Quilts and Fibre Art that stretch the boundaries of design, techniques and fabrics.  Quilters compete for awards and ribbons in the various categories.

o Section 2 Display Quilts Display (Non-Judged) Quilts

o Special Exhibitions

Jurors and Judges Exhibition

Pro Dedicate Award Exhibition

Original Sara Dreyer Coverlet from the Drostdy Museum and quilts inspired by it 

Access to the main exhibition is included with Festival Participant Registration or Day Visitor admission.  

The main exhibition hours are: Wednesday to Saturday: 09.00 to 18:00 and Sunday: 09:00 to 14:00

Note: Collect your Competition and Display quilts on Sunday between 16:00 and 18:00

 

There are several special and satellite exhibitions during the Festival. Visit the exhibitions independently or join a special excursion to some of the exhibitions. All ticket bookings and excursions to the Satellite Exhibitions must be pre-booked. Exhibition Tickets will not be available at the venues.
